"Secret Weapons" is the 12th episode of Season 3 and the 38th overall. It originally aired on May 3, 2012.
Story[]
In an attempt to get help, Jacob and Chase Landry bring along their grandfather Duffy, Troy's father, to help them hunt an old honeyhole. With his help, they are able to get over half-a-dozen gators, impressing Troy himself. Junior and Malcom hunt in a small part of the swamp, which can be only accessed via pirogue. During the hunt, the catch a gator that was to big for the small vessel, and was drug behind on a rope with a lifejacket on.
In an effort to get more gators, Bruce and Ron go to an old honeyhole. While there, they discover a gator that has broken their lines. After the chase, they are able to get a 12ft gator, bigger than any other this season. Austyn and Blake are given more tags by their buyer, Coach to find their own honeyhole that has not yet been found.
