"Cold-Blooded" is the 18th episode of Season 3, and the 44th overall. It originally aired on June 14, 2012.

Story[]

With 5 days remaining in the season, a large cold front rolls into the swamp, along with a powerful storm. With the cooler temperatures, gators are beginning to go into an early hibernation. Jacob and Chase implement a strategy that Troy and Jacob used in the previous season during a storm. The duo use "Rotten Beef Melt" to lure in gators. In the end, the Landry gang all catch 30 gators total, nearly cutting their remaining tags in half. Junior, now teamed back up with Willie, starts out with very little luck. They decide to grab their hanging bait, and relocate. In the new area, the gators are biting a lot more, and the duo make a good haul.

Bruce and Ron try to brave the storm, but their day almost becomes wasted. With the rising waters, their baits become submerged. In the end, they catch only one gator, and almost had one more. RJ and Jay Paul try to run all of their lines quickly before the winds flip their airboat. Although they were catching gators, they had to move back in so they could get a stable boat. They do become successful and catch a good batch of gators.
